image.jpg Are all these Homelites and if so can you tell the models by what you can see? This is the only picture of them I have.

A local municipality is taking sealed bids on various equipment. I will probably go take a peek and put in a bid. Already got one Xl925. It's a b!!!!! To start but runs great when it does.

The thing about identifying Homelites is that they made several saws about the same size but numbered them differently. The biggest two probably can't be identified by the picture, the smallest one is a 150.

Alright guys went and looked at the saws. The large one is a XL925 stated that it runs, compression felt good. The middle one is a 450, was told no spark so no run, very low compression. The 150 was told that it runs. Compression feels good. Not sure if I will bid now or not.

The 925 is a pretty nice saw with the wrap handle. 450 is a good saw but most likely had a torn boot leaned it out. Has a two piece ignition that is tough to find. Homelite 150 is like a Pontiac Aztek to look at but will get the job done when a small saw is needed.

In other words if the price is right bid it and see what happens. You can always part out the 450 to help defer cost of the other two if they run.

925 series saws will pull very well running correctly. The pars alone on the 925 and 450 have value in them depending on length and on condition. Sprocket nose I hope.

If I was able to pick them up then I would throw a bid on them.

I'd have a hard time walking away from these.
