Arboristsite had a lot of good info at one time. Seems like that "linkbucks" issue/hack really screwed some things up though.

That marked a turning point where a lot of the "old" crowd left. But it wasn't just Arboristsite - there was a severe uptick in organized hacking campaigns that changed the entire internet. Asian and eastern European criminal gangs started focusing on forums, bulletin boards, web dating sites, and community pages. Some of the forums went offline forever, like a great Yamaha forum I was a part of that had tons of valuable information on the older bikes posted by members. There was a lot of organized eBay graft happening then too.

Im not waisting the time to look.
Randy's input was often valuable.
The former mod I do not miss.
Randy saved your ãss so many times, so this makes sense to me. I have noticed a difference in your posts since he left. Less contradictory, more helpful. It's welcome.

Randy, unbanned me twice. "So many" is a stretch.
Both times I was banned for ridiculous reasons. One of which was for suggesting JMS was a moron IIRC.

Well, you're quoting someone who hasn't been, so forgive me. I don't think I'm known as someone who holds back either.
Thats the problem. The bans were selective. Usually at the behest of winers or from the former mod who was on a power trip.
Arboristsite in its early years functioned very well because there was ample peer pressure to keep the idiots and con artist builders in check. Latter when that went away and the place was over run. Its never been the same sense.

I’ve learned a lot from you over the years. I get why some others question what you say and why you reply the way you do. Tim, Brad, and myself are very similar in some of our responses, just like you. At some point in time for one reason or another, we get tired of people being dumba$$e$ and feel that they need to be told so. I have spent many days hanging out with Brad and Tim and have no reason to believe that we would all get along just fine in person. We all have different jobs, or play different roles in settings like this. Need to think about where the other guy is coming from

I feel like that's more a product of the times than that particular place. Some of the brewing or sport bike forums I used back then would hurt plenty of feelers nowadays.

That said, I didnt see your content that got you time off. If it was anything like what I've seen up until a few weeks ago though I wouldn't question it. Whenever I read your stuff it looked like you were just here to argue and troll. Toxic AF.

Some people need their feelers hurt.

Toxic... sounds like some millennial horse chit.
