Dug back and found my first AS post, Nov 25, 2006!

It was about grinders, and I still agree with most of it!

When was it you joined AS?

2007 for me.

I was trying to figure out how to put a 038M P/C on a seized 038S I got for free. I got that done with a NOS/OEM Mahle P/C. Still have that saw and it still runs real strong. Was that the first conversion of that type? Don't know. I know others have done it since and improvements/new methods have been used.

There was a lot of knowledgeable people at AS, some have left, some are still there. Lakeside53/Andy comes to mind. AS lost a good one when he stopped coming around AS.

Many have migrated here and left AS and/or got banned there. Some still use both sites like myself.

I got the AS ban hammer once because of a piss ant in the political forums who is still there. Many there contribute nothing except drivel in the political forums. I go there to poke the Leftists in the eye.

I am thankful for OPE. Lots of knowledge and good reading/good people here.

Mostly they just want to fight and argue.
I think they all have personal vendettas against each other.
I also think there's lots of accounts run by just a few people.

There all complete retards anyways.

I logged on to AS about a month ago for the first time in about 2 years. I noticed the changes right away. The only thing keeping me there is the friends I've made and very helpful folks.
AI is a growing BS cancer.

28 Dec 2005 for me, my older brother Ray (RIP) introduced me. I still spend time there almost daily, but many of the threads run off the rails very quickly. Some of the Stickies are actually staying on target.
