Alright where are the 6.0 boys?
OuchMy neighbor has a 6.0 and after he got it fixed it is a great truck. Too bad you have to spend nearly $8K to get them there though.

That's unfortunate for the ford loversLike you said the 6.0 is awsome after you spend a ton on them.
@Onan18 ibe got a buddy with a 2006 f/l with a Detroit 60. How much trouble is it to run the overhead on?
And they used to scream . your saying is funny my deceased buddy used to say the same thing thing screaming demonNever done a 60 Series but I imagine it can't be that bad. All the Detroit's I have ever messed with have been the old two stroke screamin demons.

The 6.0 has a double had full of orings in them any one goes bad your down. Head studs are a must! High pressure oil pump will be next! The list just keep going. But they are some running sobs when done right! I'll keep my cummins! That's unfortunate for the ford lovers
It's funny but its the truth"Ridin' down the road in my 6.0
Blowin' a gasket, needin' a tow"
A good co2 fire extinguisher would have been handy!
Randy, this is what happens to a Detroit when you set the rack too tight or it is stuck. It gets good around the two minute mark.
