Bummer that he sold it. I live between Kalispell and CDA...been looking for an excuse to go to Costco in Kalispell...due to the no state tax of course.

266 with a perfect Eliminator kit and wrap handle for $125. Hell, just that top cover has sold for near $200 in the last year on ebay. I couldn't care less about the rest of the saw, LOL...have 5 carcasses already. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did.

just that intake kit and the handle. they were a big hit back in the late 80s/90s. Bailey's sold them. the old retired dealer I know sold hundreds of them to fallers in ID back then. Company made them for the 61-266, 268-272 and the 281/288 series saws. you got the taller cover, huge intake elbo and K&N filter. About 2x the airflow. He sold them on the saws he ported.

as much as I hate going there, I would be willing to help out and try to meet up with people and ship stuff to anyone who needs something.

when I was a kid I used to have quite a bit of family there and spent many summers on flathead lake. I didnt go there for about 12 years, now I get lost its blown up and the sad part is mainly commies have moved in.
