That bar needs to be redressed and given some tender loving care. After that, it could have dozens of hours left in it. I've restored many bars in far worse shape than this one. The nose is not replaceable, but I have done that for quite a few bars and saved them.
Last month alone I saved five 32" bars and three 36" bars for a logger who neglected them. The noses were rusted tight as a drum and both sides were orange with rust. I should have taken before--after Pics to show here but I failed to do so. My error.
