A customer bought a Husqvarna T435 and brought it back after a couple days because it wouldn't stay running.
We exchanged it for another one 2 weeks ago. He brought this one back saying it will only run for 15 mins then won't re-start until it sits for a while.

Anyone seen this? Is there anything we should be looking for? @Onan18 do you know?

Ripped boots, right at the base flange. Not necessarily Huskys fault, customer gets it stuck and yanks on it once and instant air leak. I am eating a P&C and boot on one right now for the fire department, saw is a year and a half out of warranty but still looks brand new. The Chief called up here after I called and told his subordinate what happened and said if I did not cover it under warranty that he was going to start buying Stihls instead, but not before he came up here and told the owner of the company how much of an incompetent hack his "mechanic" was and that he needed to find someone who knew what they were doing. Sometimes it is just not worth the headache.

Wow what a dbag. And doesn't someone at city hall make the purchases?

Each different branch (Police, Fire, Water, Maintenance, etc...) can select what type of equipment they buy and from whom, so long as they stay in budget. City Hall just cuts the checks.

Thanks Joe. We'll check for that. Would that cause it to run until it gets hot? Anything else we should look for?

I have had a couple be lean out of the box, but run until it gets hot sounds like a coil issue, or possibly a tank vent?
