Does any one use antivibe gloves? I've heard of them. And noticed some benefit of regular gloves, but do they work any better?

I have no idea whether these qualify as antivibe gloves, but they do feature pads on the palm area and reinforced finger tips.
I like them very much when bucking firewood logs.

Dolmar part number:

- size M - 988 000 508
- size L - 988 000 509
- size XL - 988 000 510
- size XXL - 988 000 511

I can provide better pictures at daylight if desired.

I wear them when doing a lot of cutting. But take them off before you handle wood, because they won’t hold up to that use.

Here’s my post from another site, from a few years back:

“A/V gloves need to be full-fingered, to protect the digits, and because cold is linked to vibration related disorders, according to ISO standards.

They also must allow enough dexterity to grasp the saw and operate the controls.

Gel palmed 'impact' gloves are not A/V.

The best ones I have found are made by Impacto - they have lots of styles. I like the ones with smooth leather palms and the air bladder A/V liners.

About $40 - $50 a pair. Use other gloves for wood handling.

Second place: OK-1, model 990 full-fingered glove. About $30 (they run slightly small).

Third place: knit gloves with foamed rubber palm segments. Wear out quickly. As low as $10 (unless they are labeled 'STIHL'!).

There may be other brands and styles. These are what I have tried and used with saws.”

Cold can aggravate the effects of vibration. So maybe consider some warmer gloves, or even trigger fingered mitts.
