I had a great time even though I almost bled out a couple times. I want to ask Mark to thank his wife... again...for seeing him off with that big box of bandaids.

@Definitive Dave made a great celebrity appearance (lol) and brought some bling to share with the group. We all couldn't thank you enough Dave!
Boy we really tried to wear his ass out though. I think we made him run every single saw there... twice, lol. He'll probably sleep for three days straight.

Some local loggers showed up on Friday afternoon and made chicken salad out of one race log. They damn near had everyone else's saws buried under a pile of chips. I guess their philosophy was "if ya can't find yer saw, ya can't beat me!".

There were some damn fine saws running this weekend. One of my personal highlights was hearing @Heffalump fire up his 775g homie to feed it some log. A competition broke out with that saw to see who could stop the chain in the big log. The saw won. :D

As usual, Mark (@heimannm) brought some legendary vintage power heads to put in wood. The solo twin is one of the meanest sounding saws I've ever heard.
You da man Mark!!!

It was a genuine pleasure to meet a few new faces and hang out with everyone. I know I can be a little shy about introducing myself, so my apologies to those who I missed meeting.

A big thank you to Bob (@farley9n),"T" & Shannon, Kevin, and whoever else I'm unaware of for all the hard work preparing for this.

Truly a fantastic GTG! Huge thanks to Bob (@farley9n ) for hosting, to @Chainsaw Jim and Sheldon (@Torinocobra ) and all the others who helped with the setup...too many names to list...and to @heimannm and @Definitive Dave for making the trip!

The 775G that Jim resurrected for my dad was downright crazy.

Here's Nate (@madhatte ) reefing up with both hands unable to stop it in the cut.

Lots more pics to load, hoping to get that going tonight!!

Screw it...no time like the present.....

@chainsaw mentioned the Mac-Powered genset that @heimannm got running. It belongs to my neighbor. Way Cool!!

Definitive Mark.....?

Sheldon with what ended up being his personal log. Not sure how he pulled that off, but I tip my cap to him for it!

Don (@sawfun ) with the @Chainsaw Jim built 775G. Don actually gave me this saw with a NOS P/C on the condition that I not let it become scrap. I brought it down to Jim to rebuild it as a gift for my dad, and we found the crank was toast. I found a good donor saw, and Jim put together the best pieces to make this little monster. It is no joke.

Almost too much fun in spite of the rain. I missed out on a big chunk of Sunday as one of the shops I visited called back and invited me to come look through what he had. I post a few photos of the content of the boxes when I get home but I am pretty sure it will get some of you excited. Mini-Macs, Plastic-Macs, P0wer Macs, 300 Series Macs, and a few 10 Series won't get many excited but I am thrilled to have a number of saws that I can add to the collection and some good parts saws for some to keep their sentimental favorites going a while longer.

How much stuff can you fit in the back of a specially equipped F150?

Quite a lot if you push real hard...
