I have heard you can't use a tack on these saws but I think my tiny teach worked on my 181 but that had been a long time ago and my memory just works part time lol288 question; Why did my tach go crazy when I tried to read the rpm before I tore the saw down? Is it because the 2 coil set up screws with the ignition signal?

I don't have a saw to mount it on but I will post pics when I finish it . My stock for a mandrel was too long so I got to messing around with it I was going to have to cut it anyway I will get it finished up soon.I'd like to see one installed.
