My new production KS is timed almost perfect.

But the old mahle cylinders are pretty good IMO.

FYI- Small flat rate box is $7.50
That should work for everyone that got a beanie/knit hat. The ball caps will probably require a medium flat rate box @ $12.80

These are prices from PayPal shipping which is a little cheaper than the post office.

288 mahle cylinders are well liked. I just wanted something with a DECOMP! Lol

My saw is freakin tuff to pull over. I don't consider myself weak but pulling over this 288 makes me feel like a pussy. [emoji1]

I cant wait to see how difficult my 281 is going to be! I grabbed a D handle from Dave for it!

Mine had a D handle when I got but I'm not a fan (don't like the flopping around) I did see a smallish one on Dustin's J red that looks like it might be ok.
Of course the cylinder has been cut so that makes it even worse.

I have an old...non-decomp oem KS jug on a 288, I asked Rattler to make it mean and he did..at about 240#...you’d better eat a good breakfast before you pull the rope but boy it’s a runner!

Yup...you gotta be all in when you pull on em. There's a lotta guys that couldn't begin to start them.

Logger called us pussys cause we put decomps on his saws when we worked on them and billed him for them.
Sorry but we'd be old.
Shoulders on both of us are already shot.

Large recoil spool helps the leverage I think
