I've got one here for an fs45 but haven't tried it.

I've never gotten a bad saw carb and I've used quite a few.

Do they sell them on the Snap On truck?

I recently replaced one on an Echo that had one of those little ZAMA rotary carbs with a China one, and returned it to working order. The original carburetor just would not take to a rebuild for some reason, so instead of wasting more time on it I chose to replace it and the trimmer worked great after that. So did I just get lucky?

I've had good success overall with them. Only had one that wouldn't tune. Seller refunded my money, I was out about $3 in shipping. 1 out of 8 so far. Some have even said Zama on them. Appear to be the real deal.

Mostly ok...the best rotary ones ( OEM or after market) have the tiny little slot head screw under a cover plug so you can adjust the L side..Walbro. or Zama...not all have it and its a right pain if not I find Screen Shot 2016-06-23 at 19.06.46.png

In a machine that cost 100 or 150 its not worth to put a 60 or 70 euros oem carb , or any other oem parts

That's good to know ,did not know about the hidden screw
Bit of a lottery iv found ...some have them ,some dont have a adjuster , just a brass looking ball in the hole with sealer on top. Have fitted a new adjustable rotary choke throttle body in a Echo hedge trimmer that just would not idle right . Perfect with new unit in place after adjustment of the small L screw. Oh yea..you need a watchmakers screwdriver .

its something like 2.5mm screwdriver.

those cheapy pocket screwdrivers are small enough to fit if you grind off the flair above the blade
That would work ...or...as i had a few spare carb screwdrivers ..one got modded . Titchy little beggar of a screw head !

Not a weedeater but I had a cheapo china saw with a Walbro carb that would not fix from a rebuild. A cheap aftermarket china carb fixed it to new.
