I thought this tread was about coils, must be in the wrong place
That didn't take long. Post 28 & 29 only need one, now post 42 needs two[emoji12] .Any word on the coils yet? I would like to buy a couple.

I was assuming that the 665 I recently acquired would take the same unlimited coil as a 7900...I wonder also whether these unlimited coils will be a direct bolt on for the six series Solo's? I'd be in for a couple for sure.

The Solo is still in the box, but I must say that they are damn sexy...Clint, since you have both now, whats your observations between the Dolly and Solo? Which do you like the look of better? feel?

I just like Walbro's but some testing between the two on the same saw would be interesting.Someone will have to test one of those carbs on a solo back to back. I've got to mess with my carb today. I didn't go back to mess with it last night.
They are, I got my first 681 in 2009 and when guys would fight and argue about what the strongest 60/70/80cc saws were I'd have a chuckle and not get involved. A 681 will cut with many 90cc saw too. Its not untill you sit one down on a bench right next to a 7900/6400 that you can really appriciate the minor details and 'better things' that the Solo's have. l like my 6400/7900 too but.... + 1 on more Tilly's, dang they were a nice quality product, pleasure to tune. The Solo is still in the box, but I must say that they are damn sexy...
You know ya want the aftermarket big bore on it!I haven't decided what to do with it yet.
