The plug is a Torch. The engine parts were around 30yds from where the saw started. I wish I knew how high they went.

By the looks of that top end and crank case I would have assumed you filled the top end up with Tannerite that's what blew the top end right off the crankcase

I personally have never straight-gassed a 2-cycle engine, but you would not believe how many Wild Things have been brought to my shop for repairs, straight gassed with no compression. In short, they have been blown away.
