661 R&D

I've ported a few but none I'd call really strong so I'm gonna trying and make one stronger than a 066.

Kevin @Moparmyway has a very stout one so I think it can be done.

It's a stihl that's why. They are tough as nails.

So far this has not went well.
This saw needs a piston and cylinder wich I already took care of and the other nib 661r was damaged on its way here and got sent back. Lol

Don't know but I bet it's lighter than a poly 660 flywheel

Yes ,it cools the pin bearing for some reason .

I think Randy tested my 461 with and without it ,did not notice anything different on power by removing it .Someone brought up it was there to lube the pin bearing or cool the piston ,i cant remember now .

ive got a 395 piston in a 661, havnt got it finished yet but i got rid of the deflector and clearanced the case where the factory divots are. 395 piston gives you lots of skirt to widen ports and tons of skirt length to drop the jug as much as you want. Keep an eye on the lower ring in the intake port. Im not 100% sure if ill be able to drop the jug enough to tuck it in or if it will run as a single ring piston.
