Impressed!!!! Performance is the least of my concern, but if it helps that's cool. My concern is Filtration lo;
Looks like it stopped the fines from entering.

Are we going to test Air Filter oils now? lol

Gonna run Maxima oil on mine.

Moparmyway and Redbull661, ( and others who helped too) Thank you for all the input and suggestions concerning the final version of this kit. I thought it was good after the first one was made, but it took nine more versions to get it right! The first shipment of kits are out ( ask your dealer ) and we are building more, but it will be a week or two before they are available.
We could have built them to a lower standard and the retail price would have been lower, but with the saw head approaching $1200.00 we figured it needed to be a high standard. I hope everyone understands we aren't getting rich building these things. We just want to support the professionals that have been keeping us in business for 25 years. Joseph.

Would Maxima FAB 1 be sufficient in the type of oil?

It is spray on and is good for fabric and foam according to maxima

From the motorcross world, filter oil in an aerosol can usually contains propellants that will fry a 2 stroke if sprayed on and ran right away. Stick with oil in a non spray can to be safe. Or wait for the propellants to evaporate for a day before running.

I have a buddy that races 2 strokes, and he swore never use the aerosol spray oil.

Thoughts???

that is my problem with the HD2 is the little fines getting under the Hd2 filter. I did not see that happen with the max flow filter.

I think the HD2 let something through and...

I have no personal experience with this product, but I do not recommend multi use oils. Foam and fabric oils are completely different and generally fabric (gauze) oils will NOT work with our elements. I do like Belray the best. In addition, I agree with redoakneck to use oils from a bottle, rather than a spray. That way it can be measured and the correct amount can be applied (about 1/2 ounce) per cleaning.

Best thing about this kit, is that if you run the cover, the filter actually stays cleaner for longer without sucking in hot air off the cylinder, and it's black !!
It looks killer on a 661.

Probably would look great on a 461 too .......... HINT - HINT

You saying the661 kit fits the 461?

Sent from my non internal combustion device.
