I have a spare hump back cover, it has a small crack in it, it's on my saw at Randy's right now

One of these days I'll get around to building my 7910 smurf. I've already bought all the parts from Carl. All my other projects trump this one though
Was hoping you were gonna say building some more v stacks...[emoji4] but a 7910 build from you would be great to[emoji106]

There is an oem nylon mesh filter too. Makita #038-173-011

I asked my dealer and he said he didn't have them. I'll have him check that number when they are open. Thanks[emoji106]
If You decide to go with a stock nylon AF go for Dolmar part number 038 173 080 !
I got myself one to try on my PS-7310, it features a 0.050mm mesh and is much finer than the regular nylon mesh AF.
It is kinda in between the black nylon mesh filter and the felt filter.

Hint: the fine nylon mesh AF is made out of white plastic.

I have pictures of both nylon filters side by side on my desktop PC, can upload if desired.

Sorry for the flipped pictures, it's not caused on my end as those pictures are all landscape!
The forum software is flipping them for whatever reason.

Other than what the forum software is doing to them the pictures are unedited.
I payed attention to keep the same distance while taking the individual filter pictures - they show the mesh difference pretty good.

The white fine nylon filter is only listed as a part for the PS-7310 & PS-7910 at my dealer of choice, which is the reason why I didn't notice it till recently while fixing my PS-7310.
But it will fit the entire Dolmar & Makita 64xx/73xx/79xx saw family. :)

Cheers,
W. cheers.gif

Cropped, not zoomed in - to circumvent the forum software from resizing the pictures.

The picture of the black AF got flipped 90° by the forum software.
