So how has this head helped you achieve your goals? What timing numbers did you want to hit?

Stock I was
95-122-85

I didn't want to lower the jug at all because of the trans and intake. But I used a custom single ring piston and needed to drop the jug .030 to get the ring end out of the intake port

I ended up with 93.5 - 118-121 - 86.5

Running an exhaust this high with only .030 off the base wouldn't normally net very much comp

Oh, it's also much easier to port the jug and faster to find your heights when there isn't a head in the way.

I didn't go real big on the intake cuz the 880 carb that's feeding it doesn't need as much area. Especially since it's so low. It's probly gunna get filled but we'll get to that later

Took the studs out and hogged a big bit through there.... probly wouldn't go about it like that again.

Flipped upside down, the fuel line and impulse aren't bad. Linkage is a dirty MFER though
