Hey! Looking a 562xp air filter upgrade kit. I put the kits on the other 562's that I had. I would like to do the same with this new saw that I picked up. I would rather buy from someone on here...so I'll wait a few days before fleabay

Thank you
Steve

Yeah, if Duke's (Traverse Creek - advert at top of page) has it, I would try there. I got my velocity stack for my 2100 there. I get lots of parts there! I check there first when looking for parts!

Is it an upgrade? I put the kit on mine a couple of years ago, my 562 is the first model made, and for those that say they were a worry, its never been, had, or caused, any issues goes well. So i thought i’ll do this upgrade! My old filter wasn’t an issue, as for the upgrade!! I reckon it performed better with the old one, the filter was very easily cleaned and at far less intervals. I hate these new pleated filters, hard to clean in the field, theres plenty room for it to be far bigger too plus filter the top. Pleats hold dust… buggas a things, but I ain’t changing it all back now and like the 592 one puts up with it. But a famn good saw i have found it to be.. 24” duralite & full chisel skip👍

Take a picture on the intake horn and post it.

Don't clean it before you post the pic...

I tried the V1 setup, the V2 setup, and finally a Redbeard stack adapter with a green weenie before I stopped having fines making it into the carburetor. Admittedly the saw is my designated loaner (dust as opposed to chips is more common during it's use) but nothing kept the dust out. Even greasing the filter edges did next to nothing.
