What is your thoughts on this saw? 215 on compression, .028 squish, 96ex, 12o transfer, 82 intake.

Ummmm..........recipe sounds ok. Piston is telling a story. What am I missing? Not knowing the use of saw, something go wrong?

Was used to cut firewood and occasional big wood. Owner wanted a high rpm saw more or less to show off. Saw developed an air leak due to sealer failure and was turning over 15,000 rpm.

I think it is fascinating the wash is stronger on the PTO side. Both sides though are perfect.

Is it me, or does the piston and bottom end look dry?

It's dry I cleaned it up. It had plenty of oil on it before I wiped it down. What's your thoughts on the burn? Is is odd that the intake has no residue on the squish band or is that a good thing?
