Hi
I'm in need of a 372xpw serial number, a saw that was born with the 51.4 top end.

:)

I've a 372 with the 51.4 top end, I'd asked my dealer for rings and apparently they had never heard of a 51.4 372.

BTW, does anyone know if there's a place I can source good rings for one of those top ends?

I believe you will have to order a 52MM set and hand fit it yourself.

At one point I ordered a set from Bailey's, the rings were available but pistons, cylinders, etc are hard to find.
Definitely the way to go by getting a set from Husqvarna, when that's all over with, get out the ring gapper tool and needle files to re-notch it for the locator pin and make the next larger size work. This is what had to be done with the rings for the Wiseco piston that were supplied for the W cylinder.
