I heat case halves to 350 for 30 mins and the bearings literally drop in.

You ever try to put a rubber aftermarket seal in an MS200T without a driver? Especially on the clutch side.

Heat to 325 and the bearings will almost fall in. Some manuals say 200° C

I always go from 200 and over celsius i mean. perfect every time

Do you have a lathe or a friend with lathe , if yes take a piece of steel a seal and do it , dont need the saw you need the seal for the measurements .

If you get the case to 400 or so and then put a heat gun on the bearings right away the crank will go in almost all the way by hand as well.

Good luck Andy, good advice here. Doing it yourself will save you both money & time and you will be confident its done right. My other half often finds saw parts in the oven, freezer or on the stove and makes funny wtf faces, don't be deterred.

I'm getting into it and enjoying it. Split the case on an 044 a couple of weeks back but didn't touch seals or bearings as they were new, case seal was leaking between oil tank and crankcase. I've been playing with saws for a while but cases are a fair step up.
