372 xt air filter nut...

So the nut that the air filter screws down into on my 372 xt came out today as I was cleaning the filter. I didn't notice it was missing until I put the filter back on and tried to tighten it. The nut's not in the saw body. What the heck size is the nut and how do I go about finding one? Thanks, Steve.

You can check the illustrated parts list. I think it is like a m5 1.0 or 1.25. Or take it to a hardware store. And run a nut on it.

Make sure it is not in your carb or some place loose on your saw. Double check your flywheel and make sure it isn’t stuck to it.
