Ok I apologize if this thread has been discussed before. I can't quite figure out how to word this right when trying to look it up. I'm wanting to swap my 1998 365s chain tensioner to a side style. The original bar plate took the chain to it at some point in its life and is warped pretty bad because of it. 'Ive bought 2 brand new bar plates 1 OEM and 1 hyway. Neither of them sit flush. Is there more to swapping the tensioner to a side style besides just pulling the tensioner screw out and replacing the clutch cover to the newer style?
