I was really surprised that my 254 spanked the 346 like that in the smaller wood. Good old 2-series! Of course I am sporting a 4 cc advantage.

Yeah it was fun, but unfortunately cut a little short due to dinner plans with family.

I had a nice little side note victory though. My 242 was acting up, leaning out up top. Pressure testing showed a leak at one of the oil pump mounting bolts. Addressed that and no improvement. After getting very frustrated with it, Squatch suggested checking the fuel filter which I was sure I had replaced during the rebuild as I normally do. But there it was!! Damned fuel filter was restricted enough that it was starving for fuel when demand was high! I must have simply (and boneheadedly) forgot to replace it. She's screaming like she should now and I'm happy again. Funny how the little things can trip me up once in a while. Hell of a little saw

Muffler was disassembled and baffle completely removed, no other mods to it.
