It got a Denso tall plug. Got a decomp plug at my shop down here. I still have more tweaking to do. If anything it feels like it has more torque. This log got really inconsistent down towards this end. It didnt feel like it ran out of fuel in the cut but it should get better as it breaks in.

A stihl dealer by me is like that. Last time I went there after hearing that *B-S.....

Pretty much all the cutting I've done with it so far is on that vid. I haven't even tached it. At this point I wouldn't recommend it just for the stuffers, but guys take down runners for other little tweaks. The cost is minimal for just the cups, but if i had it down I'd do the bearings and seals too. Then it becomes a little less sensible.

Would this work on the 350 semi clamshell saws? Probably make more sense since there easier to tear down. 350 case capacity appears to be a little tighter than the 346 to begin with I noticed. I have a 346 cylinder on the 350 bottom, runs pretty good.

I was thinking about trying on a 350. Quzick said,
"I did try on one. it fits but needs center plastic mod.- grind it away on both sides. then it should have clearance for bearings.
but i do not know how is with the crankcase, is there enough space?
and i think/fear that the 340/345/350 bearings with these cups are a bit to tight then, and may have some lubrication problems.", in the other thread about this mod. I'm going to try it anyway and see what happens.

I don't have a spare crank from each to side by side. The clammies are always cheaper and easier to experiment with. Unless you got a basket case Canadian 346 laying around

I realized the bar and chain in the vid is 16". My bad. No wonder it acted like it wanted more. I just made some cuts with an 18" 3/8 setup. It did fine with that but started to get lean. It's too damn hot/humid to screw around today lol. I'm on vacation...

hmm, my 2152 was picked up with a bad cylinder (stripped muffler screw holes) & looked like this oe. It had done a lot of cutting for a tree service so I got it on the cheap. I ported a 346 topend with a popup & it ran really good. 2 or 3 years later of topping firewood work - ended up blocking up a 20" black oak with it after hitting a nail with my 7900 - last cut had smoke rolling out the flywheel side. When I pick up bearings & seals I'll get a set of cups. thanks for doing this.
