@Mastermind, please add me to the H660 PM. I want one too.

Pistons can be stock?

Can we use the wrong size rings?

I'm rearranging my schedule at work. I should be flying down Friday AM. Hoping that some of the northeast guys will try to meet at the airport and we can rent a car and roll together.

Al the date is before the head of the Charles so I can probably make this!

I will firm up commitment by summer.

Last time we did 660s I used a standard bore, and a big bore. Both aftermarket. The standard bore saw was a few seconds ahead of the other.

So......I don't really think adding displacement is automatically an advantage.

Like I said earlier, the more rules the more of a pain in the ass it becomes. So, as I said in the first post, aftermarket jugs only. You must build a FarmerTec kit saw, and post a thread on the build. No OEM cranks......and the reason for this is that the crank might be the weak link. You can use an OEM carb......but it must be an 1122 carb. Also, you must have a working choke, and an air filter. Muffler saws only, no tuned pipes. We will supply the fuel, and the chain.

Now. Definitive Dave has been gracious enough to offer to spring for a roll of chain. 3/8 x .050 full chisel. I think we need a 25.00 per saw entery fee to help pay for that roll of chain, but I will let Dave have final say on that. Also, he is putting up a 250.00 prize for first place.

Now....

What else should we cover in this post?

MiniMac races if you have one :)

Or Homie races like EZ or EZ2. Good stuff. Limited to ?.? CI and/or 1/4" chain. There has to be a race with "off the shelf stuff" sitting everywhere in sheds, shops, basements and barns. Homies or Crapsmans have to be close to the top Homeowners Special. Grudge matches with side bets and bragging rights. That should bring out some creative old saws worth nothing more than the fun you have with them.

Oh btw, I'll bet many would like to try a Southpaw Mac.

If anyone wants the base/squish cut for their saws cylinder and doesnt have the machining to do it, I'd be happy to help anyone in this buildoff out with their buildoff saw.

Just PM me with the amount(s) thats wanted removed from the base and squish, any other particulars that you might wish to have done .................. send it to me and I'll spin it. BAM !!! Easy peasy !!

Question was asked about different tunes with different elevations and different fuels used.
Twas suggested that each entry have a tag with the desired RPM the person wants their saw tuned to ...........:campeon:
