1989 was the 300th year anniversary! Nothing else special about it. But it's just like a numbers matching car. Well but different. The high tip cover is a plus though.

Well I'm not sure what makes a 300 anniversary saw different but my second 288 has the same top cover and I can guaranty its not a 300 anniversary saw /LoL
The Sticker makes 'em special. 1989 saws also are better for piss revving, it's a scientific fact!
Given your username, you may be tough to convince of this phenomenon, though.

I went from thirty saws down to twelve, and I thought I was well on my way to recovery........wrong! Somehow I'm back up to twenty
Hunting season starts Saturday, I've been putting off my reloading for saws. Why?
Dose anyone have a rebuild kit for a 1964 brain? I think the rivet came off my main metering diaphragm.
