HUSQVARNA 288XP throttle shaft screw size needed

I have a 288 that I picked up awhile back and apparently it has the wrong size screw holding in the throttle shaft. The pin backed out today and is letting the throttle lever slip over the carb roller. Does anyone know what size that screw is? I have the Husqvarna part number and can order one but I need to get this saw back up and going ASAP if I can get it from the local hardware store. Thanks in advance

the part number is 503 21 14-06

Looks like this is one of huskys coarse thread screws. I have not found an equivalent from a hardware store.

I'm not confident I have the part on hand...if I get some time I can check. Best to buy from that ebay link though.

Look up Tecumseh screws. Just an educated guess from memory. 6hp seems about right. Self taping engine screws for mag, aluminum and plastic.

Thanks guys. I got the job finished up without the saw and I have a couple those screws on order. I appreciate the help
