I’m just impressed that a kid the same age as me is doing port work. I’m always afraid I’d mess up the cylinder like ironhorse. That’s why I’ve only done a muffler mod and base gasket delete to my 490
Get yourself some cheap saws and junk cylinders to practice on. Hands on is the way to learn

Thanks man. Like Agent Smith said, do some experimentation on a cheap beat up saw before hopping up your good ones.

I got a oem decom mahle 288 jug that has aluminum transfer that could be cleaned up and a 359 oem jug with a damage spot on the exhaust port roof from catching the ring. Any body wants them they are free
Austin you better jump on that! @ZukiRyder400

You shut your mouth;) Guess we need to put Austin’s 281 up against yours at the next GTG we make it to. :D
I didnt really do too much to that cylinder. Still wanted to have that awesome low end but have a little extra on top for fun:)
I almost forgot... my goal was:
EX: 100*
TR:126*
IN:80*
What I ended up at:
EX: 100*
TR: 126*
IN: 76*
I left my intake at 75* because at one point I want to do a base and squish band cut and with that cylinder dropping say .040” that’ll set me at or near my goal of 80*.

Good planning buddy. I think we should raise your transfers up to around 120. It’s not easy to do without a right angle handpiece, I can help you when I get home if you want.
