Just playing with my first 201 port job and had a couple questions. So far .04 off base and squish (.17 squish), now sitting at in. 72(80 begin piston v 78 begin fresh air) ex 112, trans 130 to 140.
plan: leave intake alone(widen)
maybe square v on piston giving 80 in? Ex 105 and 65%, trans 125 flat. does this intake v smooth out flow or is a straight hit better like a non strat. Or should I be raising the intake and stratos. Question 2, I gave the cylinder a sex change now what kinda orifice would be best. Mastermind has stated the importance of tight case volume so would just radiusing the edges be best vs removing chitloads to taper to case? And turdly, should I go down to ex 105 or lower, I wonder if keeping it high would give me more torque or is this the point if diminishing returns. Thanks in advance, enjoying the new challenge of non gutted strato porting. Also would filling the case from transfer extension bump up be worth it ?
