So here's the issue guys. This piece of metal is suppose to be welded to the crank like the opposite side.
I have had this happen before a few years ago. Simple solution, Either I replace the crank or I reweld
the weight back on. I'm gonna weld it back on tomorrow. These cranks are getting harder to find in
good usable condition.
Simple solution is to never tap on either end of these 123cc Mac cranks. The SP125's have bolt on weights
where all 797's and 101's are welded weights.
Will be going back together tomorrow.

Man I love this saw, Wish we could have had more time to play with it.

Are you going go re-balance it?

Actually, it appears that the weight has a nesting spot there, should be able to reattach it with a new weld back in its original location. It might be even stronger if you bored a hole in that plate and plug-welded it to the crank, so it wasn't relying on just the tack weld on the outer side.

No, they broke it before I had a chance!
Just anther shake down run. You gota work the bugs out before you spin up a nasty chain ;). She's all shook out and ready to eat big weeds of the hardwood variety, again.
Aka: Boss Mac
I found the walking trail map to the best part of the lower Kill. I'll bring a rod next time.

Lee's custom 120si. One of the two saws I ran Sunday.
