I'm surprised it's not a 442. The KM90-130 all just went to the 91-131 series. Hate the hew style. Yuck. Looks like a pita to work on to. I didn't pay much attention though. haha I'll have to grab a brochure and look at this new stuff.

I think it's easier to work on. That top cover on top comes off to adjust the valve without taking the whole thing off. And it's got the plug for the Stihl software to if you want to check hours and a few other things. I suspect Stihl might start wanting the hours when a warranty is filed in the future.

Ah ok, like said...I didn't pay much attention. We had a different guy assembling yesterday. Yeah, last time I talked with JD at stihl tech....if you can't provide hours and possibly other things they will not accept warranty. :BangHead:

the new trimmers have a different trigger design and be a little easier on the body suppose to be less vibrations according to my dealer.

Interesting, I also noticed a push button shut off switch. lol
they need to catch up with echo on the trimmer anti vibe because echo has it figured out and you can use one for hrs with out getting numb hands and arms. that is one of the reasons i never liked the 4 mix trimmers.

I worked for a large landscape company for a year and all they had were fs90s. They were fine to me. I've owned a 110 for about 5 years now. It's my trimmer, slap a blade on it and destroy *s-word lol

I've got a 05' fs130 when they had the metal clutch cover. I use it to cut around our pond that takes about 2 hours. I also started using the super cut 20-2 head starting last year and I like it
