No cookies for you. LolHow am I mean silver eagle ? Lol
I'm in the same boat Nick.Randy @Mastermind would there be room in this endeavor for a non builder to buy a kit and try to get it together using the help from the know-how-ers build threads. I know I'm being non competitive but I can promise you I have no knowledge to share with these guys on saw building. I might find a little money tho to waste on an adventure that may only yield a pile of junk and some new knowledge
They can be class 1, 2, and 3, we can be classlessI'm in the same boat Nick.

I assure you I'm entering in the first class. I have never ported a saw and will be doing all the work at my house by myself. I'm sure I'll talk to Randy a few times on numbers, as I have no clue about them, but other than that it's all me.At least you have a boat to float, thanks to @Mastermind
I am glad that everyone gets to play. Will be interesting to see all the different outcomes from the same kit saw, mild and wild.
I'm almost tempted to just build the saw straight out of the box and run it, but what's the fun in that lolThey can be class 1, 2, and 3, we can be classless
Same boat here. Heck. I'll be lucky to get my case halves together facing the same direction. Especially since Dallas is my help...Randy @Mastermind would there be room in this endeavor for a non builder to buy a kit and try to get it together using the help from the know-how-ers build threads. I'm hoping that with enough help the darn thing might run out of the box. Even if I just learn enough to keep me from burning up the saws I've got it would be worth it.I'm almost tempted to just build the saw straight out of the box and run it, but what's the fun in that lol
Any progress on the ban Jon121212 proposal yet?I'm almost tempted to just build the saw straight out of the box and run it, but what's the fun in that lol
You have to start them first Nick...I'm hoping that with enough help the darn thing might run out of the box. Even if I just learn enough to keep me from burning up the saws I've got it would be worth it.

Of course. I was saying just race it the way it came. But I know what the outcome would be lolIt'll be wise to do this and make sure all the bugs are worked out before porting it. Illuminate some variables in troubleshooting that way. I know that's how I'm going to do it.
