I also just want to clarify that classes 1 and 2 will be running the chain as-is off the roll ? Do we know what kind of chain it will be ?

Combine all your ideas, run a muffler for class two, pull it and put your pipe and chain on for class 3.

Two questions.

So now a ported 54mm jug can be in Class One, as long as no machine work?

56mm can be in class 2 now?

Porting was always on the table for every class. Just no base, squish, or piston machine work in Class 1.

After considering the mess it would make of our already mostly complete order, I've decided to keep the 56mm top end out of the 1st and 2nd classes.

It just makes Bruce's job on supplying the kits more of a pain in the ass. The 56mm top end might be a little stronger than a stock one, but it doesn't lend itself to mods very well at all. The point of this exercise is to mod the Chinese kit to increase performance.....and the different classes allow people with varying levels of tooling to still enjoy the event. So, I'll edit the rules for clarity, but no changes will be made.
