My bosses truck. It's eating front right breaks. The rotors are in horrible shape but both fronts look the same. What I'm wondering is it I should rebuild/replace the caliper or just replace the brake hose and pads/rotors? Thoughts?

Likely the caliper. Does it pull to that side if you brake hard? Mine did when the caliper was shot, but only when braking hard.

Brakes are pretty simple. For uneven wear check caliper pistons, make sure pads move in brackets, make sure caliper pins are free. Easy way to check hose would be see if brakes lock up after getting warm then crack bleeder if brakes free up then hose if not caliper is sticking.

No pull while braking but there's a throbbing feeling lightly coming through the brake pedal. I'm thinking maybe just rebuild that one caliper, do new lines pads and rotors all the way around?

Yeh, bad caliper I had could only be pushed back a little. Not near enough room for new pads.
As was suggested, you have to crack the bleeder and then try pushing it in. If it moves the caliper is fine, replace the brake line.
How much meat is left on the rotors? Might just need machining. Sounds like you may have a warped rotor.
If it's gotten hot enough to warp them and you can feel it, they're probably junk, not much meat on rotors these days.

I haven't seen anyone rebuild a caliper in 20 plus yrs, do they still sell kits for that?
If there is rust pitation on the rotor it will wear pads out quickly, you said in your initial post the rotors were in rough shape.

Check the slide pins and pull off the brake hose. If you can’t get air or barely any through the brake hose it’s junk.
