The late, great 9422! Winchester did a terrible job marketing those, I didn't even know they existed until near the end of production. I'm a hardcore Marlin guy, but I would take a 9422 over a 39 any day.

You’re a smart man. My 9422M is more accurate, lighter, and has a smoother action than my 39A.
