I had a nice portable 12v tire inflator that I kept in my vehicle.
My wife took it for her second vehicle. The one she took is no longer available and I need to find a replacement.

I see a lot online but don't want to end up with a POS. I'm generally skeptical of online descriptions/reviews that were written by someone who obviously does not speak English as their primary language.
Do any of you guys have any recommendations of what to buy and more importantly, what not to buy?

I have a Viair 88P and really like it for a small compact compressor that only gets used once in a while.
From my findings Viair is one of the best portable compressors.

Like you said there is a ton of over seas junk on the market that belongs in the dumpster.

How much psi is the Viair capable of?
F-range tires on trailer, 100 or 110psi, can't recall which. I've been looking for something like that for my Dad to carry because they are always traveling all over the country.

Hello Ed.
My little 88P compressor is rated at 120 PSI. I personally wouldn't want to go past 80 PSI airing up a 10 ply pickup tire.
Viair does make an RV series of compressors which comes with longer air hoses and they are rated for 150 PSI max.
Check out the 400P-RV and the 450P-RV compressors.... pricey but they are a quality tool that will last a lifetime using them the way they are meant to be used.
