Not so tired version of a Husky. And just slightly more than your $1k budget after the massaging was done. Think I'm really going to like this autotune stuff.

Twas a jest sir, one of these saws is not like the other. Davidwyby brought a rebadged 346 up to run with my 350 and I was curious if anyone would notice the discrepancy.

Dang it, I should recognize which saw I sent to David to rebuild into a 346 screamer from the sausage porter

Ended up placing the order for the Redmax GZ7100 this evening. I think I’ll enjoy & appreciate this saw.
Should have plenty enough power for my wood’s cutting land clearing tasks.
Wouldn’t mind getting a light bar & some husqvarna flip up fuel caps.

Yup. Pretty much is.
Yup, 372x-torq version. It looks more like a J-red 2171, hope he did not pay over $875 for it. That 372oe ported is a different saw and Bruce is selling 372's for $880. But, than again he did not ask me for money, so he can purchase what he wants. Enjoy your new saw.

That's not a good answer. Sounds like they have a oress copy to read from. I was thinking/hoping they would go into more depth.

I followed up with STIHL and no response. They sent a survey for the open ticket and I described the issue with their service, this isn't dead. I might hammer this one back to Germany.

Received the Redmax GZ7100 today, factory bar is .058 24” . My question is, can I install a.050 gauge bar or will that require a rear sprocket change as well?

Have access to a Tsumura 050 3/8” 84dl 24” bar & would prefer to run husqvarna x cut .050 chain.

Yes, you can install .050 bar.
Sprockets are not gauge specific.
