Memory is a bit foggy But the drum bearing needs to checked when swapping drums. The 034 original was smaller OD. (or something like that.)
I got 4 after market rim/drum/bearing kits once and the bearing cage was plastic and stood to tall. The E clip couldn't get in the groove. Sand paper on a flat surface and hand sanding fixed it.

None of this makes any sense at all.
If you have a 20" theres no reason to have a 18" if you have a 18" theres no reason to have a 20.
Trees cant tell if you cut them with a 18 or 20.
I agree BUT a .325 is less grabby on trimming twiggy tops. And if OP already has the .325 bar he might as well use it instead of hanging it on the wall.
