That's what I was thinking you'd say- jump from the 201 to the 2260. Ive never seen a 2260 in person, but I think I read one time that there is little difference in "size" between even a 550 and a 2260. And that the 2260 is smaller than the 562. ?

Yeah its a little smaller. It has a lower top cover, smaller air filter, small mount bar, and it's a little more compact. Have you ever held or used a 555? Its the same size.

Lol! If you wanna see me cantankerous let's talk about a 1 rifle plan. No no no no...ha ha ha!

You're really trying to get me going now, aren't ya? Ha-ha-ha. Besides it's a myth, no such thing exists in America, average firearm owner has 17 plus in his/her collection.

That was a nice saw. Never really considered Dolmar, but that saw has me thinking.

Randy, I noodled 12 of these yesterday (40" Red Oak) using the 460/046-D you did for me, and for that duty it was my favorite saw, especially with square file chain! Not many saws would process them as fast as that one did, especially in that weight class! It went through them almost like a hot knife through butter. It is nice to have the right tools for the job! For an all around I would pick something smaller/lighter, but not for doing this!

My Ruger American Rifle in 30-06 ... handloaded to potential w/165 gr Barns. Light, accurate, smooth bolt & trigger, rugged & cheap, what more could you ask for? I have numerous bolt action rifles, and this is the first one I did not feel any need to modify. The others all have either trigger work or barrel bedding, or both.

Handloading an 06 to it's potential makes it more than adequate for any North American big game, although a larger caliber would be preferred if I were to ever persue the Grizz.
