Did not see this until you PM'd today...honestly other than repairs coming in like crazy I have not been thinking about hobby stuff lately. End of season paving push is on and I am busier than a one armed paper hanger.

I have an 084, Fixed jet HT2A, that is factory set to run Zero turns on the high speed adjustment, It has never wanted to run more than 10,200rpm with a filter installed and chain adjusted correctly.

I recently removed then jet/check valve insert, I warmed the carburettor up and punched/tapped the jet through into the venturi side, soldered the ~1.0mm jet up, redrilled it to 0.85mm.

Reinstalled the jet/check valve, by pressing it back into the machined bore, presto! 12,500 rpm at 1 turn out on the high speed screw.

I think there may be some fuel leakage around the lower portion of the jet, but it's running great, might try reinstalling with some sealant, and ensure no ethanol fuel is used in this saw.
