I'm going to try this set up later today when I get the chain touched up. Most events use 20" logs so hopefully this length doesn't put me at a disadvantage.View attachment 27393 View attachment 27394
I spent a good hour or two on the chain making it real nice and then realized it is a waste of time since it wasn't a brand new chain to start with....or the right one for that matter.
It is an .063 with drivers worn enough to ride smooth in the worn groove on an old .050 bar but the bar with the newer groove won't run it without potential damage.

How high is the exhaust on that one?
I'll need to put a degree wheel on it to see exactly where it is. I didn't have any specific number to go by so without that I can't give an accurate answer at the moment.
One thing I do remember specifically is that you could accurately measure the distance I raised it with a wooden kids ruler. Lol

I got the cannon bar set up for it today. It isn't a race bar but I suppose it's good enough. The log is the stump end so it's getting bigger by the cut. I had to remind myself that when comparing cut times in previous videos where I have it trimmed down to 20" because it is now 22".

It's kinda funny watching you hit the nail or metal. We saw it and got to see the wtf was that look as you were wondering what just felt weird. Then you hit something else and we saw the wtf look again. I bet you watched the video after you saw your chain and put it all together lol strong saw tho. I'm impressed

I went and tried to find what it was but didn't find anything but a stain it left in the wood where I hit it. There are a few teeth jacked up but not near as bad as I expected.

@Frank bierce I gotta admit I like your avatar. Everytime I see it I wonder if I'm on the right forum!
