Like I said, occasionally. I don't usually port for people just cuz I flat out don't have the time. I enjoy it and may do a few saws for people but can't make it a habit.

Besides, there are people who make a living doing it off of forums like these.

First production year 046s had optimal timing. They also had a D-shaped CC. Suddenly, it became "common knowledge" that all D-shaped CC cylinder were best. That's simply not the case. Honestly, I doubt you could tell a bit of difference between the two, all other things being equal. Use whatever you have, or whatever you can get, or whatever fits your build style best. Put the right port timing in it and you'll be good to go.

Brad, weren't most of them (Ds) on first year saws? How long before it went to Hemi, and any idea why the 046/460 did but the 044/440 did not???
