038 Magnum cushions or bolt covers?

Hey guys,
Just got my 038Mag back and noticed it was minus a couple of plastic or rubber parts that cover a large screw.
Here are the pics showing the holes they go into.
What are these called and can order aftermarket on these?

You'll be able to get them from any stihl dealer, if you google the stihl 038 IPL you should find a copy, they're the plastic retainer type covers for the AV mounts, shouldn't be more than a couple of dollars each

It will run without them but it might not be a bad idea to have them .I think the idea is to swell the rubber so it doesn't pop out .

I went to 3 Stihl Dealers and they were out & yet, offered to ordered them.
I ordered them OEM off Fleabay for about $6 plus shipping.

I can't think of any dealer who would stock such an item for a saw that's 35yrs old.
Perhaps Madsens would stock them?
But like you've already discovered, eBay is your best option for this particular item.
It's just an AV plug.

'Just an AV plug', maybe, but, they help prevent the cushions from parting company with the grove.

Actually are quite common across the Stihl line and have a broad interchange.

Exception being the chain catcher I think.

One dealer actually had several in stock..."on paper/computer!"
Yet, upon request they were MIA!
Ebay has its merits...
