No, continents away in oz mate. However there is no company here that replates blind bore cylinders. So where ever I send them has to be internationally. Prices are a lot cheaper in the UK from the few I have seen advertised, especially considering I have about 5 or 6 cylinders to do.

I was handed a strait gassed 038 mag in bits in a box last week and asked if I can make it run again.

I will get some before and after shots of the transfer and how it looks after a cleanup.

I have used randys method to save a few cylinders and they come up fine.

Just take your time using finer emery. If you try and do it too quick and take the chrome off its all over

No joy, literally can't find a single company in the UK that are willing to replace a blind cylinder!

Looks like it's back to paying a fortune to ship it over to US Chrome!

Have you tried Electrosil in Melbourne?
Not sure if they do chainsaw cylinders but could be worth a shot.

Yep. Have done. They don't do blind bore cylinders either.

Was taking the shine off the inside of a 2101 Cylinder today and thought I would fix the 038 cylinder while I was at it.
Saw was strait gassed.

After removing the transfer using the Mastermind method.
There a couple little scratches left but it will run fine.
