Not sure, but Project Farm tested almost every fuel additive and Red Stabil is the best at everything. The old RA formula as most premium synthetic 2 stroke oils have a fuel stabilizer/corrosion inhibitor in them.

Pic 1, 2,3 were RA only 25:1. Pic 4 and 5 were RA 25:1 with an ounce of Techron in the tank. Saw is a 268XP that was “new to me”

Hmm, maybe try following the instructions on the bottle and actually put it in the fuel… It definitely cleaned up a 268 and my filthy 55 with a high dosage when ran in the fuel.
