Hello group,
So, if you were glued to my original bar oil in the gas tank topic, you'll love this one. I wanted to update you all, used the saw last week and realized two things...
Czar was 100% right and my needle lever was not adjusted correctly and thus my saw was not running correctly. I...
Sorry about the delays, Yes my throttle linkage is working, I did not know you need special tools to adjust these carbs I can't adjust the high low unless I have the covers off, I tried cleaning the original carb but it wouldn't start put the replacement knock off on and it still only idles. I...
Hi all, learned something today with oir Poulan pro carb. (Of course I have a new problem there). So back to my needle lever height On the Poulan I noticed the lever was even as the one pister said but when I put it back together the lever was up until I tightened the screw that holds the bar...
Hello again group, thanks for the help on my echo 590 so now I go back in time to an older Poulan 5020 av (I hope that's the correct name) 50cc engine older model my GF had her lawn people using and of course they didn't maintain it at all. Last summer I was messing with it a bit and replaced...
Hello to all who have been waiting, holding their breath... I got the new carb and I took the plate off to check the spring and lever height and to my surprise it was the same as my setup. BTW there is only one slot for the fork to go into, meaning the lever goes up not level. However, when I...
Lee, sorry I was busy yesterday, could you tell me what picture or what lever you are referring to, I did not adjust any levers unless I'm missing something. I will try the hold the gas WFO and start it.
What an offer, but what are the odds I am at Woodbridge CT 06525 but I would be happy to come to you and I would be happy to pay and bring food and drinks any day except this Tuesday.
thanks dave
Ok so bought a new plug but since I am in a small town no one carries the correct plug, got one step hotter and no start I see spark I smell gas on the plug but not even close to starting I am absolutely pissed off. I was going to take it to a shop but 2-3 week turnaround that’s why I spent 100...
Ok here is the other side parts 28-30 gaskets had to make sure they are positioned correctly
now i want to re-read the high low adj I have never touched but i will see if it will start
Hi again, this morning I will take the carb out, I'm going to check the hoses again, I will double check the diaphram and make sure I put the gaskets in the correct way (best I can, I have a parts diagram so I will hope it's correct. The new carb will not arrive until Tuesday or Wed same with my...
Hello group, today I went out and took the carb off and took it apart one thing I noticed, I did not put the (what I'll call the float, hinged part that holds the needle valve with a spring) I did have that fork installed incorrectly, I cleaned it out (the carb) I pulled the vent out of the tank...
BTW on taking the carb apart I was pretty careful taking one side off then the other but since I screwed up the choke link maybe you're right but I took it apart 2x what I don't understand is once you take the t shaped item off and the spring and one jet there doesn't seem to be more to remove...
