    MCCULLOCH The official McCulloch thread

Picked up a couple of old guide bars today. Two of them are McCulloch, one of them is a Remington, the one mocked up on the 797 I'm not sure about. The part number in the picture is of the Super Pro bar, I can't find much information on it.

So what are you doing for blue jeans? Looking for ones that don't rip!

I think Bill beat you to the dry on the fly. His coveralls look dry on the everywhere.

    I should probably introduce myself

We started homeschooling when the school corporation told me we had to put my 2nd grade Son on medication. They said he wouldn't sit still in front of the computer over half the day. lol you don't say. The options were medication or suspension, we chose a different one. My wife was actually...

Same here. The only bad thing is you have to try on every pair to make sure they are the size the tag says they are. I will grab three pair of the same size, and they'll all be different lengths or waist.

    IEL-Pioneer thread

A before and after of a P42 I picked up recently. I haven't tried to start it yet, I just went over it real quick to find any obvious defects. Besides a broken clutch spring, it looks pretty good. Would the P42 come with an 18" bar factory? I want to buy a new bar and would like to get one...

Nice. I like those two saws. The other old saw I said I was in the middle of is a Poulan 5400. That picture is kind of ironic.

    Mcculloch 797, Super 797 thread

Well I took a little brake from the 797 as I was a little frustrated. When I would set up the hand pump pressure gauge, it wouldn't even move the needle. I was at work the other day and it dawned on me that I have everything I need in the work van to keep a constant supply of air so that I can...

    HOMELITE Homelite Thread

I'm pretty stoked about finding it. The P/C look great through the exhaust as well. I'm in the middle of another old saw right now though, so not sure when I'll get to it. It's missing the A/F cover, the muffler cover and the back shroud. I'll start gathering parts for it now though. I also...

    HOMELITE Homelite Thread

I scooped this old fellar up recently along with a few other saws. Not sure when I'll get to it, but at least it's here when I'm ready. It's missing a few parts, so I'll start collecting in the meantime.

I will read either way. I'm going to start collecting parts for mine soon. Maybe you could get a perseverance award if you revive the old thread.:campeon: j/k

    MCCULLOCH The official McCulloch thread

Well it happened again. I brought this home in part of a three saw deal. I believe it to be a S44A due to the square muffler and the flywheel cover. Of course any of this could have been swapped out, so if you think otherwise please let me know. I think it may have been someone's part saw as...

SOLD Nos Poulan pp455 full wrap and bottom bracket

I searched through some IPL's, but couldn't find any crossovers. Do you know if this would fit a P42 or P52? I'd be interested if it does.

    POULAN The Official Poulan Thread

Does anyone have a line on the FWD isolators for a 5400? Or a suitable replacement? Or is a guy stuck buying them for $30 a piece?
