So what are you doing for blue jeans? Looking for ones that don't rip!

Well, if you are splitting seams, probably need to lose weight (or wear baggier pants), if you are catching on sharp objects, then you need something tougher that won't tear so easy. This is what I have learned!
They rip along the seams because they get weak there over time and one time pulling them tight and they're done. Other than that it's really just random holes at the corners of pockets.
Years ago, I was doing work in a steel mill that required all natural fiber clothing.

Fortunately, there was a ‘manufacturers outlet’ type place nearby, that sold Wrangler jeans.

They held up pretty well, and at $10 a pair, sometimes I had to decide if I was going to do laundry, or just buy more.

Still have some. And see some used ones priced higher at Goodwill (I guess ‘vintage’ and ‘distressed’ are still a fashion statement)!

Similarly, I have bought Costco brand jeans for as little as $10-$12 a pair, went on sale. Once, on line,
because they did not have my size in the store.

Held up well. Might be worth a look.

So, part of it, is do you want to wear heavy, double-front jeans that are thick, and expensive, or willing to get some value priced ones that you replace more often?

Where the double ones are double isn't where I have issues usually.

I picked up 2 more pairs of rual king jeans and 2 different Wranglers today. I'll probably order a couple pairs of prison blues and a couple pairs of keys at some point. Thanks everyone!

Wrangler from Walmart. Buy several pair every fall and the old ones go to work pants. I’ve torn them, but never had them split. I wear them six days a week and the new ones on Sunday. Relaxed fit of course. Some are 8-10 years old.
Same here. The only bad thing is you have to try on every pair to make sure they are the size the tag says they are. I will grab three pair of the same size, and they'll all be different lengths or waist.

Wrangler and Levi’s are decent. Cabela’s/Bass Pro are the best I’ve used. Berne are junk across the board from bibs to jeans
